Signify reaffirmed its rural development commitment at Dudhwa National Park during a key event on human–wildlife conflict, showcasing its Every Village Illuminated CSR initiative. The programme has impacted over 400 villages, installed 9,000 LED streetlights, and announced expansion plans for safer forest-fringe communities in Uttar Pradesh.

In a significant reaffirmation of its commitment to sustainable rural development, Signify, the global leader in lighting, advanced its vision of safer and more resilient communities at the “Human-Animal Conflict: Challenges and Future Strategy” event held at Dudhwa National Park in Uttar Pradesh.

Aligned with its Brighter Lives, Better World vision, the company emphasized its flagship corporate social responsibility programme, the Signify Every Village Illuminated initiative, which focuses on enhancing safety and sustainability in forest-fringe rural regions through advanced lighting solutions.

The high-profile event was attended by Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, Minister of State (Independent Charge), and K. P. Hekali Zhimomi, IAS Principal Secretary, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, and Anuradha Vemuri, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Government of Uttar Pradesh, were also present. The gathering further included senior policymakers, forest department officials, members of the Tharu tribal community, and conservation experts, all convened to deliberate on escalating challenges in human–wildlife interaction zones.

During the event, Signify also launched a coffee table book documenting its impact in Dudhwa National Park, presenting real-life narratives that illustrate how improved lighting infrastructure has enhanced public safety and strengthened community resilience in vulnerable forest-edge villages.
